Temilade Series 1-More than just a Dream

by Strong women worldwide

The fuel attendant could not focus on the day’s job, Temilade walked out of her ash mini hatchback. Again, her perfume welcomed everyone and made a strong reminder that beauty has a sweet scent. No one complained, they all had their eyes glued on the same person.

She was aware of her beauty and she was used to daily paparazzi. In a flash, she got into her hatchback, zoomed off and the fuel station was unfrozen again.

She halted opposite an uncompleted building in the middle of nowhere. The only thing in sight was a signpost hanging under a very weird tree that reads; The Great Boko, for quick money, love portion and ‘mirakles’. She had waited for a miracle for so so long that she’d decided to come this far to see Boko.

On Tuesday, after she lost her third pregnancy for husband number two and her eighth pregnancy in 7 years, Derrick Tade, who promised living with her, child or no child after Samson Klu abandoned her and blackmailed her of witchcraft, threatened to leave her too.

She’d lost hope on praying and fasting. Given up on ‘His plans for her are for good,’ judged God by her circumstances and The Great Boko who couldn’t spell miracles was how low she had descended.

“Lord!” she muttered and got distracted by the beep from her phone. It was a message from Derrick and he was leaving her. He had reconnected with his ex-wife of 4years with a male child that looks just like him and he was sorry.

In the speed of light, she made a quick turn and headed home. How dare he? This wasn’t going to happen to her! She’s going to stand up and fight for herself. She would not need boko’s help again and very quickly she was almost at home when she heard her name and a bang on her hatchback from the rear.

Struggling with the steering… she jerked up from bed with a headache!

…………………

…To Be Continued…

Broken over and again?

Life can be unfair!

Waiting on God for the fruit of the womb. Believing God for the right partner. Trusting God for direction after a major fall… Whatever we have to wait too long for makes us grieve.

Girl, what’s your story?

God is never too late. Be careful of the alternatives the devil brings. You have waited too long to give in now. Sin would harden you; for one time would never be enough. The devil would have you go back again and again until you become a slave to what God already set you free from.

If you had to wait, it had better been for great!

Keep holding on!

Waiting sometimes are for our benefit, that’s y the Bible states clearly the ways of Men are not the ways of God.
Though it might not come immediately but when it comes at God’s appropriate time it looks better and more honourably without pain.

There’s no limit to the time to wait on God. The time of waiting may not be that easy but surely He makes all things beautiful at His own time. If we be Abraham’s children, let us ask for grace to trust and wait on God just like our Father Abraham did. Yes it may take long-suffering but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. To all that are trusting God for one thing or the other, my words for is “Don’t give upon God. He’s the only alternative that we have. Just hold on.”

Like a satellite navigation system, we cannot get all the directions ( blessings) to our destination ( destiny) in one swoop. It may confuse, overwhelm us and create in us a sense of entitlement that may derail us. God allows us to go through certain experiences to mould our character and to teach us lessons in patience, self control and test our faith. We must embrace the waiting experience

Great story!
God had to remind Abraham of His promise several times, when Abraham finally believed it was counted onto him as righteousness.
In every situation we find our self, God is saying something. Most times we think He is silent but we weren’t listening. I pray for the grace to see God beyond our problems, that’s the only way to victory.

Keep up the good work @SW Jace
